Carolina Wren
The winter of 2021/22 brought an incursion of Redpolls, a boral finch. One morning while I was taking some pictures of the Redpolls this little guy popped onto the feeder for just a few seconds! A rare bird in these parts and way out of it's normal range. Why? No one knows. Only a very few have been seen around the southern half of Minnesota the last couple years
